ALLIANCE FOR MULTILATERAL
ECONOMIC COOPERATION

ABOUT AMEC

AMEC is a Swiss-based collaborative platform established by professionals with experience across multilateral institutions, diplomacy, leading universities and research centers, international business, and global policy ecosystems.

AMEC - About Us

It was created in response to a structural shift in the global order: a multilateral environment in which durable solutions must be co-developed across regions, disciplines, and institutional cultures. AMEC operates as a neutral, non-aligned platform dedicated exclusively to initiatives that improve human outcomes and unlock long-term potential.

Rather than organizing conferences, AMEC operates as a strategic convener and thought leadership platform, identifying critical themes, shaping high-level dialogue, and architecting the structured environments in which senior stakeholders can engage in consequential, long-horizon collaboration.

OUR

MISSION

AMEC enables the structural cooperation required for the next phase of the global economy by bringing together decision-makers, senior leaders, scientists, and institutions, connecting expertise across regions and systems to address the foundations of long-term prosperity, resilience, and competitiveness.

AREAS
OF ENGAGEMENT

AMEC works across four interconnected domains central to the next development cycle of the global economy.

1

CITIES AND COMPETITIVENESS
IN THE NEXT ECONOMY

Strengthening cities as engines of innovation, resilience, and long–term economic performance.

The agenda integrates transport and logistics modernization, next-generation urban systems, and AI-enabled economic ecosystems with strengthened technology leadership and strategic autonomy. It further prioritizes human capital for knowledge- and AI-driven economies, forward-looking health systems, and the cultivation of globally competitive innovators capable of leapfrogging legacy constraints.

GLOBAL
SOUTH AGENDA

Ensuring global growth is inclusive, balanced, and informed by diverse national realities.

The agenda advances underrepresented economic perspectives, promotes equitable participation in global growth, and supports development strategies that are rooted in local realities while remaining globally connected. It further fosters cross-regional economic partnerships to strengthen balanced and inclusive progress.

2

3

THE FUTURE
OF WELLBEING

Should be as a core societal infrastructure through scalable, population-level models.

This includes integrating AI with preventive health systems, expanding democratized access to longevity and advanced care, developing policy frameworks that support sustainable health systems, and positioning measurable wellbeing as a factor of competitiveness.

NUCLEAR ENERGY
IN THE FUTURE ENERGY DIALOGUE

Reframing nuclear energy through evidence-based dialogue and cross-sector cooperation.

This includes advancing scientific clarity beyond legacy perceptions, fostering structured dialogue among scientists, policymakers, and industry, clarifying the role of nuclear energy in reliable low-carbon systems, and building responsible alliances to support safe innovation.

AMEC GOVERNING
BOARD

LEADERSHIP

AMEC operates through a compact, senior-led structure built for discretion, precision, and execution.

Our model favors depth over scale, alignment
over visibility, and trust over publicity.
Contributors include seasoned practitioners from diplomacy, multilateral institutions, academia, finance, infrastructure, and advanced technologies. Each participant is selected for domain authority, judgment, and the ability to operate effectively across systems.
AMEC does not assemble large networks.

It brings together the right individuals, at the right
level, for clearly defined objectives. This structure allows AMEC to move with agility and support consequential cooperation without institutional friction.
Detailed profiles are shared within the partner environment.
